The Beauty of Astrology

The galaxy lives within us. Our crown of stars, energy of molten sunlight, and eyes of moons, reflect to the world beyond our own. We live by the rise and fall of the moon and sun, cycles that push and pull us like waves under silvery light. Rhythmic and fluid we find ourselves looking towards the sky for answers and comfort.

Astrology can be dated all the way back to 2000 B.C during the age of the Babylonians. It was introduced to the Greeks in the 4th century B.C., embraced by the Romans and soon the world.

“Astrology was used to bring a sense of order out of apparent chaos, it was soon utilized to predict weather patterns, primarily for agricultural purposes. It was eventually broadened to include forecasts of natural disasters and war and other events in the course of human affairs.”

That made Astrology a valuable tool for kings, queens, emperors, and empresses. The most famous use of politics and astrology was Queen Elizabeth I, a queen who loved the world between science and mysticism. Her closest advisor was the English astrologer and occult philosopher John Dee.

Stars, Moon, Sun, Planets, a galaxy of creation is the blueprint to our being. We are made up of earth and sky, influenced by cycles of nature. Astrology and horoscopes have been used for centuries as guides through the day, week, month and year. Yet we tend to never go beyond our own sign, never venture deeper into our galaxy blueprint.

There is more to use than our sun sign, our zodiac symbol, there are layers to our natal chart. We grow from the foundations of many aspects of space, roots across the milky way.

  • Sun Sign: Your intrinsic personality
  • Rising Sign: How you come across
  • Moon sign: Emotional needs and responses
    • My Sun: Taurus
    • My Rising Sign:  Virgo
    • My Moon: Scorpio

Astrology is the perfect way to manifest and understand the reasoning behind why you feel and act a certain way. Doing your own natal chart allows you to discover the story behind your personal galaxy. “Your natal chart is a map of where all the planets were in their journey around the Sun (from our vantage point on earth) at the exact moment you were born.” Crystals like Cirtine (sun), Moonstone (moon), and Labradorite (stars), are key to unlocking and working with your planets.

  • Planet: Motivation
  • Sign: How you direct this
  • House: the area of life where that motivation and effort will manifest

When we look at our chart and horoscope we transform. We being again. Taught by the earth and given the moment to react and move forward. Like the ocean, we are pushed to shore with empowerment, ready to welcome the challenge and then gracefully pulled back to heal.

“Glittery light lives under our skin, attracting the moon and stars. A galaxy of color flows through us, a magic that makes us feel alive.” -EcoFitYogi
